Katie Barrow joined us in November, to help out with admin and planning. Getting an extra pair of hands in the office means we’ll be even better placed to support our clients.

You might remember our August article about Office Manager, Michaela Keohane. She is particularly pleased that Katie has joined us three days a week.

Michaela said: “When the Covid situation improves, we’re hoping to increase Katie’s hours.”

***Katie’s background***

Katie used to work at Bounty, the company that helps couples through pregnancy and parenthood. For example, they provide Bounty Packs to new mums, and go into hospitals to take photos of newborn babies.

The pandemic meant that Katie was made redundant from Bounty in March, along with most of her colleagues. She’d been there for four years. Prior that that, she worked in a garden centre.

It’s a big change to go from that to dealing with covered car transport, but we don’t doubt for a minute that she’ll be able to cope!

***Katie’s family life***

Katie has three girls ranging from 21 to 12. Outside work, she likes to go out eating and drinking and going to spin classes (when able to and not necessarily in that order!)
