Our job is to transport hush-hush vehicles wherever you want them to go – including through the recent floods in Europe…

One of our drivers, Geoff Henman, recently went to Switzerland to deliver a car. We regularly drive to other parts of the Continent, but haven’t often been asked to go there.

You might have seen the recent news from Germany, where rivers were overflowing and streets were awash with water?

When he arrived, those same storms were raging though the country and driving was hazardous. For example, he took this photo of a car in a flood – rest assured, this wasn’t the one he was delivering.

Undeterred, Geoff delivered our client’s car, on time, to its designated address. Safe and dry.

***Homecoming***

On his return journey, Geoff seemed to be driving one of the only trucks on the ferry, and took this photo as evidence.

These ferries are usually full with trucks carrying fruit and veg – but not this time.

One floor did have trucks on but his was empty. Let’s hope that doesn’t mean our supermarket shelves will be empty too!
